Summary: Group of items sharing the same partition key value; max 20 GB storage.

Overview

A logical partition is a group of items in a container that share the same partition key value. All items within a logical partition are guaranteed to be co-located on the same physical partition, which enables transactional operations (like transactional batch and stored procedures) to work within a single logical partition. Logical partitions have a maximum storage limit of 20 GB.
